Most of our hiring falls into four areas: route drivers who run the mobile shred trucks, scanning and imaging technicians who prepare and digitize documents, production staff who handle collection, baling, and hard drive destruction, and office staff who schedule jobs and answer customer calls. The shredding side of the business is route work across the Carolinas, while scanning is production work based out of our facility.

License requirements depend on the truck assigned to the route, so the best thing to do is tell us which licenses and endorsements you currently hold and we will confirm whether they cover the opening. A clean driving record matters more to us than years behind the wheel.
Route drivers do more than drive. You will be swapping locked containers at customer sites, operating the shred equipment, and often destroying documents while the customer watches from the viewing station. That makes you the person our customers actually meet, so we hire drivers who are comfortable talking with people and who can be counted on to show up when the schedule says so.
We are a small, locally owned crew rather than a franchise branch. Owner Shane Hunt still runs jobs himself, the office staff know repeat customers by name, and there is no regional corporate office deciding how your day goes. Everyone here handles material that belongs to hospitals, law firms, banks, and families, so dependability and honesty carry more weight than anything on a resume.
The pace is steady and the routes are predictable, which suits people who would rather build long-term customer relationships than chase a different assignment every week. Many of our accounts have been with us for over a decade.

Two things set the job apart. First, the work is broader than shredding alone: the same company runs mobile destruction, hard drive and e-waste destruction, high-volume scanning, photo and video digitizing, and records storage. People who want to learn a second skill have somewhere to go.
Second, we are NAID AAA Certified, which means the way we handle material is audited rather than assumed. Chain of custody, background checks, and a monitored facility are requirements of the certification, not slogans. That gives you a clear standard to work to, and it is a credential worth carrying in this industry.
Our headquarters and scanning facility is at 2032-F Independence Commerce Dr, Matthews, NC 28105, just outside Charlotte, and we also operate offices in Huntersville, NC and Little River, SC. All three run Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
